Great Strides From PSAL Loan

I joined Uganda Police Force as PPC in 2007. On the advice of Mr. Okoth Ochola John Martins the current IGP, I joined and became a member of PSAL in 2009.

In 2016, I borrowed a PSAL loan of Five Million Shillings (5,000,000/=) and started a retail business in Kireka, Kampala, which has since expanded with the following achievements;

• I bought a plot of land in Mukono and constructed a commercial house of seven rooms.

• I am educating my three children in good schools in Kampala out of the business, namely; Adikini Rebecca Oprah in S.3, Ochwo Paul in P.5 and Achieng Mercy in P.2 in both government and private schools.

• I bought land in my home village and planted trees and many other achievements I have achieved in short run.

To someone this may look to be a story but in reality, I am very happy to join PSAL and I encourage my fellow Police offi cers to join PSAL. I have achieved a lot because of PSAL and through the loans with small interest rates.

I take this opportunity to thank the management of PSAL under the leadership of Mr. Ochom Edward (Rtd AIGP) and Almighty God who has enabled me to achieve all of this that has changed the life of my family since 2016. Thank you.
