Am pleased to announce that Police Saving Association Limited “PSAL”, that since I joined it in 1994, I have gained a lot in terms of knowledge, saving culture and investing the loan funds in a better business.

I remember in 2009, when I got the first loan from PSAL of 3,500,000/=, I used it to purchase two acres of land part of it to purchase mango seedlings.

When I completed to pay back the loan, I applied for another loan of shs. 5,000,000/= which I used to purchase three acres of land, mango seedlings and paying workers.

I have the following types of mango fruits at my farm; Tommy, Eden, Keintty, Apple and Zereti species.

All that I have acquired it through PSAL Loans which are affordable and friendly. I sell my fruits at my farm and most of the buyers comes from kampala. My home income has increased, I have managed to educate my children, to provide local employment to the community members to help maintain, prune and harvest the eight acres orchard.

Beside the above achievements, mango fruits have delicious taste, excellent flavour and attractive fragrances, it is reach in vitamin A and B, also it brings “Hope for family income generation, hope for sustainable nutrition, hope for community employment and hope for economic growth”. I am sure when retire, I will continue supporting my self from mango fruit project, a long-term investment.
